I am very enthusiastically recommending Jam West Carribean Foods Brand Jamaican Patties. I have many students on campus (approximately 18,000) that need wholesome and filling snacks on the run. Jam West Carribean Foods Brand Jamaican Patties are not only hot and fast, but also very inexpensive for frugal college students while still maintaining a very high profit margin for our operation. Students like them because they are tasty and able to be eaten without plate or fork while on the move. And we like them because they hold well for long periods of time and are very easy to prepare.

Having done extensive travel in the Carribean years ago; I became very familiar with this Island staple. Jam West Patties are as authentically flavored as any patty i have ever had in the islands. Plus, reading their ingredients list I can see that there are no artificial additives or hydrogenated oils. I can finally get this elusive treat here in Los Angeles! Jam West seems to be the only manufacturer of Jamaican Patties in Southern California.

Every time I encourage someone to try these Jamaican Patties, I always get an immediate positive response and a repeat customer. The proprietor of the business will even do taste tests right on campus to universal acclaim. I encourage any food service operation that provides any kind of “grab and go” foods for retail to try these patties and spread the world.

Taste of the Town is our largest annual fundraising effort, and it makes possible the on-going services we provide to children who are struggling with learning, behavorial and emotional health problems, including those who may find themselves in a crisis situation. The Carribean dishes you donated were w wonderful addition to our multi-cultural food selection and everything was greatly enjoyed by the participants. Varona was wonderful is assisting us serve and she was a joy to have in our group.

Over 250 people were able to experience performance, foods, and displays from countries around the world. Those who attended Culture Night enjoyed performances from Latin America, Hawaiian Islands and more.
