Jerk ChickenJerk Chicken

Developed over centuries Jerk is hot, spicy and uniquely Jamaican.  Chicken is marinated with a fiery mixture of spices including Scotch Bonnet (our hot pepper), pimento or allspice, nutmeg and thyme.

Mama’s specialty…chicken sautéed and stewed down with bell peppers and tomatoes.

Oxtail

This meat is well known throughout the world and is a particular favorite of the Jamaican palate.  Well seasoned and marinated the meat is slow cooked and lightly browned with butter beans

Curried Goat

You just don’t get anymore Jamaican than curried goat, it is a tradition throughout the islands.

Stewed Kidney Beans

Stewed beef, pimento, thyme and coconut are some of the key ingredients for this Jamaican favorite.

Seafood Dishes

Curry Fish (whole or fillet)

A zesty West Indian curry sauce stewed down with onions, garlic and bell pepper.

Steamed Fish (whole)

Allspice berries, onions and bell peppers are among the mélange of ingredients that impart a subtle and warm flavor to the fish.

Escovitch Fish (whole or fillet)

Sweet and vinegary dressing over a seasoned fried fish, traditionally served with festival.

Brown Stew Fish (whole)

Crisp Red Snapper sautéed in a tangy brown sauce made with tomatoes, bell peppers and onions

Jerk Salmon (fillet)

Succulent Salmon steak marinated with our authentic jerk seasoning and cooked to perfection.

Ackee and Saltfish

Jamaica’s national dish is traditionally tossed with sautéed with onions, tomato, seasonings and salted codfish.

We use soy protein as our base for each chicken, beef or seafood dish there are no animal products used whatsoever.

This dish is made Chinese-Jamaican style and tossed with peanuts and a spicy sauce.

Calaloo (with fried dumplings, rice or *food)

Our buttery spinach-like greens are sautéed with onions, garlic and tomato.

Ackee (with fried dumplings, rice or *food)

Jamaica’s national dish “Ackee” is a fruit, we traditionally sauté it with tomato and a blend of seasonings.

 

* In Jamaica food is referred to as “earth food” and can consist of boiled green banana, yam, potato, dumpling and plantain.
